Reclaim the future for millions! Join our team for the Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's®, the nation's largest event to raise awareness and funds to fight Alzheimer's disease. Together, we can advance research to treat and prevent Alzheimer's, and provide programs and support to improve the lives of millions of affected Americans.

It Gets Better

Members of SAB created a video to encourage youth to stay strong and assure them they are loved, cared for, and have a purpose in this world. Stay strong - It Gets Better. Click below to see the video.

ItGetsBetter.org is a place where young people who are lesbian, gay, bisexual, or transgender can see how love and happiness can be a reality in their future.  It’s a place where our straight allies can visit and support their friends and family members.  It’s a place where people can share their stories, take the It Gets Better Project pledge and watch videos of love and support.

The Girl Effect

2011

We exist to create a new normal with and for girls.

When a girl has self-belief and is supported by her family and community; when she's empowered with skills, ideas and knowledge; when she has access to services, role models and other girls: when she is visible and vocal - she can demand to stay in school, to get healthcare, and to get married and have children when she chooses.

​

We work with girls and those around them to create active champions of a world in which she reaches her full potential and the cycle of poverty is broken.

Charity:Water

2010

Sigma Alpha Beta set out to raise enough money to build a well for a community to provide clean drinking water for over a decade. SAB raised over $5,000 in 90 days to build a well in Ethiopia. You can see the well, and its impact on the community, here.

charity:water is a group of passionate and determined creative problem-solvers who want to make a difference. Our mission is to bring clean and safe drinking water to every person in the world. They're passionate about solving the water crisis in our lifetime, using 100% of all public donations to fund water projects, and proving where every dollar goes with photos and GPS coordinates. 

Nothing But Nets

2009

In 2009, Sigma Alpha Beta teamed up with the Nothing But Nets Organization to provide mosquito nets to areas suffering from Malaria due to mosquitoes. SAB sold shirts to help promote the organization and for every shirt sold, Nothing But Nets would donate a mosquito net to countries in need.
